I have been helping clients buy homes for their families for a decade. In that time I have learned that truly successful home buying is more about people than it is about property.

This blog is about sharing the things I learn (observations, principles, rules of thumb) as I continue to advocate on behalf of my clients.

Who I am and what I do.

My name is George Black. I am a real estate professional who represents home buyers exclusively. I work under contract with A Buyer’s Best Choice Realty, a Tennessee real estate brokerage that represents home buyers—never sellers. By choosing exclusive buyer representation we exclude divided loyalties and compromise from our client service.

Together we will find the right home for you and your family at the best possible price and terms. I’ll make it as safe, simple and as easy as possible for you.

Every other real estate agent you know wants to work with both sellers and buyers. There’s more money to be made that way. Did you ever wonder what happens when one of their buyers becomes interested in a home owned by one of their sellers? Whose interests take precedence? Judging by the way most brokerages handle these kinds of transactions it seems the broker’s interest rises to the top…then the seller (who is a client)…then the buyer (who is a customer).

It doesn’t need to happen to you.

You can prevent this from happening to you. Hire an agent from a brokerage firm that represents buyers—and only buyers. It is your sole assurance of 100% loyalty for the full duration of your home purchase transaction. If the company you are considering represents sellers they are not exclusive and cannot guarantee to fully represent your interests without compromise.  

Only an agent connected with a brokerage that represents buyers—and ONLY buyers—can guarantee you 100% loyalty from the beginning of your home search all the way through closing on your new home.

Don’t worry, be happy. Not just now but two years from now.

Everyone is excited and happy when they close on their new home. Imagine being just as happy (or happier) two years later when your home has revealed its true self to you. It’s not just a matter of money, or amenities or even location that defines the most suitable home for you. All that must be in place, of course, but it’s your connection—your affinity, if you will— for a property that qualifies it as the “right” one for you.
